Welcome to Ms. Berg's Website!

Please excuse the incomplete links as I am re-designing this website to make it more user-friendly and streamlined. This year I am teaching Honors Biology for the first time, and this year will be only its second year running at NNHS. With two new textbooks and the continued development of a new curriculum, I am feeling like a first-year teacher all over again. As I create new assignments and activities, I will be posting them to this website. It will take me the full academic year to build the entire outline of the courses unit-by-unit.

Here you will discover helpful links to electronic assignments, video clips, and lab simulations. Students and parents can access class agendas, most classroom handouts, important announcements, class notes, and grades online. It is my hope that this website acts as an organizer, a communication link, and an extension of the classroom learning.

EXTRA HELP:

1. Ms. Berg is available for extra help during X-blocks on Monday and Thursday until 3:20 p.m. in Room 414.
2.  Check out the school's free tutoring resources known as the After School Program. This program is led by Housemaster Aaron Sanders. Teachers from various subject areas (including science) are in the building after school to help students with their assignments and review for upcoming tests. Drop-ins are welcome but you might find this a nice quiet space to get your work done on a regular basis.  
3. Look into joining the Peer Tutoring Program. This option is a commitment to work on a regular basis with peer tutor. It must be put into your schedule and will be counted as a class for credit. See your counselor if you think that you might be interested.
